Birdingmaps was started Feb 2009 and already has so many entries that a website has become necessary to allow their management. Click on a link above to show weblinks in a particular area.
Birdingmaps was an idea on two levels;
- A collection of blogs to provide very local information of recent sightings without having to search each one out.
- Site information allowing the user to look at an area they are unfamiliar with and plan a days birding. Using Google maps allows directions to be acquired very easily.
